John Foley, Alex Griffiths and CC Lagator launched Options AI with a mission of giving retail investors simple access to the same strategies used by institutional investors – and in the process, to revolutionize how a modern brokerage platform can look.
Having founded and built an institutional brokerage business over the previous 10 years, John Foley saw a clear disparity between the types of option strategies used by professional traders and those being used by a rapidly growing number of retail investors looking to add options to their toolkit.
So, together with CC Lagator, an experienced options market maker and retail educator and Alex Griffths, a serial entrepreneur and business operator, John and the Options AI team set about designing a platform to cut through the complexity and chains and bring the options trading experience out of the dark ages.
While others focused on democratizing access to basic trading, the Options AI team set about simplifying access to more advanced strategies that can help reduce capital at risk, improve probability of profit or generate income – to truly level the playing field for everyday investors.
